A casual linen coordinated set is not only timeless but also versatile. You can mix and match it with various tops, bottoms, and outerwear to create many different stylish looks.<\/p>\n

The pattern<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was looking to make a white linen jacket for my Spring\/Summer wardrobe so I started from there. After looking through my pattern stash I decided on this Mimi G for Simplicity jacket and pant set. There is also an option for shorts.<\/p>\n

The fabric<\/strong><\/p>\n

The jacket absolutely had to be white, but I did not want a full monochromatic look. So I decided to go with a classic stiped fabric for the pants.<\/p>\n

The pure linen fabric I chose is heavier and more structured so it worked well for the jacket.<\/p>\n

I wanted something softer for the pants so I went with a linen blend.<\/p>\n

There is a great sew along available from Mimi G, which can really help beginner and even more experienced sewists understand all the steps.<\/p>\n

Each piece came together nicely, and I completed the entire project in about three evenings.<\/p>\n
