The 5% lycra content helps create comfortable blouses, shirts, <\/em>and<em> skirts as well as lined dresses, wide-leg pants and scarves.\u00a0 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/stretch-printed-rayon-magnolia-blue.html\">Click here for the fabric<\/a><\/strong>.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"std\"><em>Fabric Care\u00a0Hand wash<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"std\"><em>Contents\u00a095% Rayon \/ 5% Lycra<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"std\"><em>Width\u00a056 inch (142 cm)<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">My monitor shows the fabric colour as white flowers on a lilac background, but the flowers\u00a0are more ivory than white.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">Notice that in the pattern description the tops are to be cut on the bias?\u00a0 This stretch rayon, although it&#8217;s NOT a knit, has enough stretch that it&#8217;s not necessary!\u00a0 I cut my\u00a0back and front on the fold, cut the sleeves on the cross-grain, AND HAD ENOUGH\u00a0REMAINING FOR FLOUNCES!\u00a0 1 meter did it!\u00a0 \u00a0Even after lengthening\u00a0the body by one inch.\u00a0 (I&#8217;m tall and always do that)\u00a0(but it was a tight squeeze) I prewashed my fabric (I always do) and LOVE the coolness and softness of it.<\/div>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">My Construction Notes for Burda 6501<\/h4>\n<p>I made view C with sleeves from view B in size 18<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stay-stitch the neckline, armholes, and top of the flounce<\/li>\n<li>Mark ALL the dots, and on the sleeve label 3 (front) and 4 (back)<\/li>\n<li>Insert the sleeve BEFORE sewing the side seams<\/li>\n<li>I cut my\u00a0binding across the grain, and it stretched a lot.\u00a0 Next time I&#8217;m using ready-made bias binding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4405\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5742-804x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"804\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5742-804x1024.jpg 804w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5742-236x300.jpg 236w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5742-755x961.jpg 755w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 804px) 100vw, 804px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I struggled to hem the flounce as instructed so chose to finish it with a rolled 3-thread serger edge, and used wooly nylon in my upper looper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4406\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5740-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"794\" height=\"529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5740-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5740-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5740-755x503.jpg 755w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/DSCN5740.jpg 1225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 794px) 100vw, 794px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I LOVE this pattern and will use it to make more.\u00a0 Fabricville has many options for fabric choices just go to the home page<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\"> (click here)<\/a><\/strong> and type stretch rayon in the search box.\u00a0 If you prefer lightweight sheer polyester, the Bella or Carlotta polyester prints look intriguing.\u00a0 Be sure then to use the bias layout as suggested on the pattern.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Burda Pants in Twill Spring Suiting<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4398\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Capture.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Capture.jpg 336w, https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Capture-203x300.jpg 203w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 336px) 100vw, 336px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The only description is &#8220;<em>Ladies Pants<\/em>&#8220;.\u00a0 I would add that these are short, close-fitting, regular\u00a0rise (to the waist), with facings,\u00a0no waistband, side zipper, and have ankle slits at the hem.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/burda-7062-ladies-pants.html\"><strong>Click here for the pattern.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"box-collateral box-description\">\n<div class=\"box-collateral-content\">\n<div class=\"std\"><em>This medium weight stretch fabric has 6% spandex for added comfort and ease.
