and Fashion Mixed into One Outfit!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Fabricville Friends!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been quite some time!\u00a0 I recently started a new job and it has been keeping me busy and on my toes, which has meant a little less time spent in my sewing room.\u00a0 <!--more-->However, with all the excitement of starting my new job, I was able to find some time to sew this beautiful outfit for Fabricville!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6127 size-large\" is!\u00a0 It is the perfect match between fun and comfy!\u00a0 I must add too, that this outfit completely summarizes my sense of style and comfort.\u00a0 I love anything with a cuffed sleeve and an elastic waistband!\u00a0 This outfit is so me!\u00a0 I also love a good pairing of patterned bottoms with a solid top!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6067 href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/ima-gine-cotton-spandex-solid-black.html\">IMA-GINE Cotton Spandex Solid \u2013 Black<\/a>, this is one of my absolute favorite fabrics to sew with and to wear.\u00a0 I\u2019ve sewn quite a few tops with this fabric and I love them all.\u00a0 I paired the black fabric with <a href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/m7660-misses-tops-with-neck-and-sleeve-variations-size-6-8-10-12-14.html\">McCalls 7660<\/a> for a comfortable look for the fall and winter months.\u00a0 I sewed view B with the high neck, cuffed sleeves and cuffed waist.\u00a0 I did a small bust adjustment to the paper pattern and I love the fit I was able to achieve.\u00a0 If I make this pattern again (which I will!), I would lengthen it maybe by 1 inch.\u00a0 Other than that, I absolutely love it and have gotten a lot of wear from this top over the last month!\u00a0 The love that the pattern has different neck and sleeve options, it is always great when you can get a lot of use out of one pattern!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6068 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0714-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/feline-printed-knit-leopard-bordeaux.html\">Feline Printed Knit \u2013 Leopard \u2013 Bordeaux<\/a>, this fabric has a brushed surface.\u00a0 It is printed on one side and white on the other side.\u00a0 I paired this fabric with <a href=\"https:\/\/fabricville.com\/en\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=V9374+Misses%27+Pants+%28size%3A+XSM-SML-MED%29\">Vogue 9374<\/a>.\u00a0 One thing I love about this Vogue pattern, is that it comes with pattern pieces for both a knit fabric and a woven fabric, which also makes for a versatile pattern!\u00a0 I chose to make the pants out of a knit for comfort.\u00a0 I lengthened the pants by 1.5 inch to make it a perfect length for those colder months.\u00a0 The pattern features large front pockets and an elasticated waist, which I love!\u00a0 I will be trying out this pattern using a woven next!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6069 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0715-1-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0715-1-755x1133.jpg 755w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Both the top and pants combined equals pure comfort and joy!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6065 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0707-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.fabricville.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_0707-683x1024.jpg 683w, sizes=\"(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sewing both patterns was such a breeze.\u00a0 Both fabrics fed through my Brother sewing machine beautifully, I really like it when you do not need to use a walking foot on some knit fabrics!\u00a0 The pockets and pocket facings were well instructed.\u00a0 This was my first time using a Vogue pattern, I really enjoyed it.\u00a0 Someone once told me that the language on Vogue patterns can sometimes be difficult to understand, but this wasn&#8217;t the case with this particular Vogue pattern.\u00a0 I will definitely be trying out more Vogue patterns in my future, I have a dress pattern in mind next!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6126 size-large\"
