Pour les jours automnaux et les temp\u00e9ratures un peu plus fra\u00eeches, rien de tel qu’une \u00e9l\u00e9gante cape pour rester au chaud avec style. C’est un v\u00eatement pratique qui allie chaleur et confort sans compromettre le sens du chic. La cape se r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00eatre un accessoire de mode polyvalent, capable de sublimer n’importe quelle tenue, qu’il s’agisse d’un jean, d’une robe ou d’un pantalon habill\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Choix du patron et du tissu<\/span><\/h2>\n

Pour mon projet, j’ai opt\u00e9 pour le patron <\/span>V1818<\/span><\/a> de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre marque Vogue, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par le talentueux duo de designers am\u00e9ricains, Tom et Linda Platt. Leur philosophie de conception, \u00ab\u00a0La vie est complexe, les v\u00eatements doivent \u00eatre simples !\u00a0\u00bb, se traduit par des pi\u00e8ces flatteuses aux silhouettes \u00e9pur\u00e9es et aux d\u00e9tails audacieux.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lors de ma visite chez Fabricville \u00e0 la recherche du tissu id\u00e9al, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9duite par le magnifique tissu pour manteau <\/span>Westminster<\/span><\/a> dans une teinte magenta captivante. En tant que fanatique des coloris vibrants, je suis tomb\u00e9e follement amoureuse de ce rose-rouge unique, une couleur qui non seulement attire l’\u0153il mais qui se d\u00e9marque aussi parmi toutes les autres. Et devinez quoi ? La prestigieuse maison Pantone a couronn\u00e9 la nuance \u00ab\u00a0Viva Magenta\u00a0\u00bb en tant que couleur de l’ann\u00e9e 2023 ! Hourra pour cette tendance puissante et revigorante qui nous fait vibrer de bonheur!<\/span><\/p>\n

La r\u00e9alisation<\/span><\/h2>\n

Le mod\u00e8le de cette cape est ample et non doubl\u00e9. Elle pr\u00e9sente une double \u00e9paisseur (capeline), des bandes de devant, des ourlets cousus et des coins \u00e0 onglets. Le niveau de comp\u00e9tence en couture indiqu\u00e9 sur l\u2019enveloppe du patron est Average\/Moyen. Au total, il y a 6 pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 d\u00e9couper. Pour plus de rigidit\u00e9, le col et les devants doivent \u00eatre entoil\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Arm\u00e9e de mon crayon effa\u00e7able et suivant scrupuleusement les conseils du patron, j’ai trac\u00e9 chaque coin avec une pr\u00e9cision d’orf\u00e8vre. Le r\u00e9sultat ? Des coutures impeccables, sans le moindre surplus de tissu ou de bourrelet ! Et tout cela, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ma fid\u00e8le compagne de couture, ma machine \u00e0 coudre \u00ab\u00a0Heavy Duty\u00a0\u00bb de Singer. Avec son moteur surpuissant, elle a dompt\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9pais tissu avec une facilit\u00e9 d\u00e9concertante.<\/span><\/p>\n

M\u00eame si ce patron semble facile, sa r\u00e9alisation ne s\u2019est pas faite en criant \u00ab ciseaux \u00bb! \ud83d\ude1d Il est crucial de faufiler manuellement les bords de la cape avant de la coudre d\u00e9finitivement. Cette \u00e9tape a pris beaucoup de temps, mais garantit des valeurs de couture uniformes pour un r\u00e9sultat haut de gamme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lors de l’essayage, j’ai remarqu\u00e9 que la partie arrondie de la capeline au niveau des \u00e9paules \u00e9tait trop large pour ma silhouette. J’ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de revoir le dessin en r\u00e9duisant la courbe d’environ 1\u20442 pouce par rapport au trac\u00e9 original. Souvent, en couture, c\u2019est ce genre de petit ajustement qui fait toute la diff\u00e9rence.<\/span><\/p>\n

En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, la cape est un v\u00eatement polyvalent et \u00e9l\u00e9gant qui peut ajouter une touche de sophistication \u00e0 votre garde-robe d’automne. Que vous la portiez pour vous r\u00e9chauffer lors d’une promenade en plein air ou pour agr\u00e9menter votre tenue lors d’une soir\u00e9e sp\u00e9ciale, la cape est un choix mode judicieux pour cette saison.<\/span><\/p>\n
